Four-star Maninoa Tufono names Top 14

USC made the cut on Sunday when Maninoa Tufono a four-star inside linebacker out of Punahou High School, announced his top 14 schools via Twitter. 

The Trojans stood among Texas, Standford, Washington, Oregon, UCLA, Nebraska, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Flordia, Texas A&M, LSU, Florida State, and Idaho State. 

The 6-3, 225 lb Tufono is one of the most sought after recruits in the class of 2019. He is rated the No. 2 inside linebacker in the state of Hawaii and the No. 3 ranked in the nation. He is also a Polynesian Bowl invitee. 

Tufono has made three unoffical visits so far, to USC, UCLA, and Utah who did not make his list of 14. 

Currently USC has eight inside linebackers on roster including, Olajuwon Tucker, Christian Herrera, Cam Smith, Grant Moore, John Houston Jr. Jordan Iosefa, Tayler Katoa, and Levi Jones. 

The Trojans also have three inside linebackers who have signed with the class of 2018 in Solomon Tuliaupupu, Eli'jah Winston, and Palaie Gaoteote. 

Tufono has yet to schedule and official visit with USC.
